CEPR's Dean Baker will speak at a Congressional briefing on an important new study, “The Chained CPI: Shackling America’s Economic Recovery.”

Along with Max Richtman and Web Phillips of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, they will discuss their findings and provide data on the economic output and job loss impacts that could occur if the chained Consumer Price Index (CPI) were to be enacted.
