Five years into an economic recovery, unemployment remains high while income inequality continues to grow. In response, Jared Bernstein, Senior Fellow at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and previously Vice President Biden’s chief economic adviser, and the Center are seeking to begin a national dialogue to focus greater attention on the goal of full employment, with an April 2 kick-off event at the National Press Club.
Lawrence Summers, Former Treasury Secretary, will present the keynote address. CEPR's Dean Baker will be one of the featured panelists, along with other renowned economists and public policy experts.
