CEPR Co-Director Dean Baker attended a panel discussion on the economics of inequality on September 30 at the Institute for Policy Studies. Dean spoke about the ‘financial crisis’ and argued that a tightening of credit is normal in the context of a recession and that a bailout is uneccessary. The discussion was moderated by Chuck Collins, the Director of the Inequality and the Common Good Project at IPS.
