The Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) invites applications for its 2024-2025 Digital Communications Congressional Fellowship Program. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 12-month, Washington, DC-based position. The fellowship will start January 6, 2025. We invite applications from individuals who currently have U.S. work authorization.
Job Description: This fellowship offers a valuable hands-on experience for early to mid career policy-oriented professionals. Successful candidates will be embedded in Congressional offices to assist members and staff with press and social media operations over the duration of one year. Candidates must possess strong digital skills, video editing proficiency, writing and organizational abilities, a strong knowledge of the US legislative process and major policy issues, and a sense of humor.
Qualifications: We are looking for applicants with skills in digital communications, a general understanding of domestic and international policy issues as well as an interest in economic justice. Candidates should have:
Duration of fellowship: Jan. 6, 2025 through Jan. 2, 2026
Compensation & Benefits: The fellowship is a full-time, 12-month program that comes with a stipend of $70,000 and three weeks of paid vacation. Up to $332.91 per month is available for health insurance plan costs. Fellows must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Washington, DC metropolitan area within the first month of the fellowship.
