Eric Freeman’s work focuses on international economic policy issues. He has previously done research in other areas, including the effects of family-friendly policies and labor economics.

Eric received a Ph.D. in Economics and an M.A. in Statistics from the University of California at Berkeley. He also has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan. He has worked as a Data Scientist for GeoMatch, a nonprofit that connects refugees with resettlement opportunities. He has also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado, was a Member at the Institute for Advanced Study, and was an assistant professor at Carleton University in Ottawa.
