Ben is a senior research fellow at CEPR, an economist at the Economic Policy Institute, and a noted expert on the minimum wage and low-wage labor markets. He is a research associate at the Center on Wage and Employment Dynamics at the University of California, Berkeley.
Previously, Ben was a research economist at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth and a research assistant at CEPR. He received his PhD in economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
