Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives
For 30 years, the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA) has been giving voice to progressive ideas. In an era of shrinking progressive think tanks and growing right-wing think tanks, the center celebrated three decades of accomplishments with a conference and gala dinner. As part of the event, CEPR Co-Director Dean Baker took part in a panel discussion on the economy. Other participants included Jim Stanford, an economist with the Canadian Auto Workers; Armine Yalnizyan, senior economist with the CCPA; and Iglika Ivanova, an economist with CCPA.
