A Message From Our Co-Directors

December 14, 2016

As we do every December, we here at CEPR are reaching out to ask that you consider making an end of the year donation to support our work. Usually this entails regaling you with a list of all our accomplishments over the past year.

But this year we decided to do something different (which, given the extraordinary events of this past year, we felt was fitting). We want to talk candidly and honestly about the challenges we progressives face, and discuss where we need to go from here.

So we asked our Co-Directors to record a short interview. Here are Mark and Dean, talking about what they see as the challenges that lie ahead, explaining CEPR’s role in addressing those challenges and, hopefully, helping you to see why it’s more vital than ever that you support our work.

There you have it. We hope that you will join with us and work with us to ensure a just and equitable economy, both here and abroad. We promise to work harder than ever in 2017.

Our best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season,

All of us at CEPR

P.S.: If you give $100 or more, you will receive an updated version of the infamous CEPR Tote Bag featuring CEPR’s mascot, Dean’s dog Biscuit. It’s union-made, 100% cotton and emblazoned with our mascot’s motto: Have No Fear, CEPR is Here (we felt that a little bit of levity is just what’s needed this holiday season). Just leave us a comment on the donate page or email dawn (at) cepr.net if you don’t want the bag, otherwise please tote it with pride. Thanks!
