CEPR's Dean Baker will be speaking at this Capitol Hill briefing, hosted by the Strengthen Social Security Coalition, the day before the top 1% of U.S. workers will finish paying their Social Security payroll taxes for the year. He'll be joined by U.S. Senators, including Bernie Sanders, as well as Max Richtman of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, Nancy Altman of Social Security Works, Rebecca Vallas of the Center for American Progress, and Monique Morrissey of the Economic Policy Institute.
