Jared Bernstein is a veteran economist with expertise in federal and state economic and fiscal policies, income inequality and mobility. He has worked at the Economic Policy Institute and the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, and was the chief economist and economic adviser to Vice President Joe Biden from 2009 to 2011. He served as chair of Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) under President Biden.
