Ravi Katari is currently a resident in Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
He has worked with the Center for Economic and Policy Research on projects examining the economic outcomes of off-label promotion by the pharmaceutical industry and alternatives to patent-funded drug research and their economic benefits.
Other research interests include tissue engineering, health policy, and international affairs.
He holds an M.D. from the Wake Forest School of Medicine and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
