• Jared Bernstein served as chief economic adviser to Vice President Biden from 2009 to 2011, under the Obama administration. He was a senior economist at the Economic Policy Institute, earned his PhD at the Columbia School of Social Work, and currently serves as a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress and Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.
