Domestic Program Intern

Amira is the domestic program intern at the Center for Economic and Policy Research.

Amira is a national Fulbright scholar completing her Master of Science in Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania. She also pursued her BA in Urban Studies and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania. Amira is deeply passionate about economic justice for historically marginalized people and committed to engaging with data-driven social policy reforms to address structural inequalities. Amira’s previous research experiences range across various state and federal agencies, where she engaged with social action through focused policy research. Amira is excited to join the CEPR team this fall to continue building her analytical skills and address inequities at the intersections of labor, gender, and race. She looks forward to an exciting career in public service, working at the intersections of policy research and legal aid to uplift the cause of working people.
