Anaïs recently graduated from the New College of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Quantitative Economics and a Mathematics Secondary Field. She is currently taking a gap year and will join the Economics PhD program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the fall of 2022. Previously, she researched economic policy options available to local governments in the southeastern US to mitigate climate change, and completed her undergraduate thesis on the effects of local rent control ordinances on rent prices in New Jersey. Anaïs is excited to join CEPR and is interested in research on economic justice, notably on policies to address inequality and climate change.
