Experts and Staff

Mariko is currently a senior at the University of Pennsylvania where she is majoring in Sociology with a minor in Political Science.

Prior to joining CEPR, Mariko led a team of college students to ensure the success of an event hosted by the Think Tank and Civil Societies Program. While working at the Legal Services Corporation, she managed data spreadsheets and monitored Congressional bills. Additionally, she has worked with the Virginia Poverty Law Center in their campaign to reduce evictions and an educational nonprofit in Chiapas, Mexico.

Mariko is excited to join CEPR and continue research on housing inequality, educational disparities and Social Security solvency.
